Social Bookmark Button Images Added

Friday, June 30th, 2006

I’ve updated the bookmark page to include graphic buttons for each service.

Since some may not always remember the name of their social bookmarking service, but they know it’s light green and purple, now they can recognize it.

del.irio.us was also removed as it’s since joined with another service and has removed their site.

Enjoy!

FeedBlitz Option Added

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

FeedBlitz is now an option available on the tools page. When you send a visitor to iFeedReaders subscribe page, and you have a FeedBlitz account, we can create a subscription box for you. That way, if people aren’t up on the whole feed reader idea, they can subscribe via email.

All you have to do is make sure to create your iFeedReaders URL with your FeedBlitz ID in it. We’ll do the rest.

Need to know how to find your FeedBlitz ID?

Sending You Home Again

Sunday, June 25th, 2006

Forget where you came from? No problem, iFeedReaders will now send you home.

I added a snippet of code to remember where you came from. That is if you entered the site via an iFeedReaders button to the subscribe or bookmark page.

That way, if you came to iFeedReaders from a Joe’s blog post on the his new iPod nano, we’ll make sure to remember that in case you want to go back when you are done.

Like always, iFeedReaders.com only remembers any information as long as you keep your browser open. Once it’s been quit, we forget everything.

Stupid Internet Explorer

Friday, June 23rd, 2006

I’m always amazed at how much time I spend fixing things for Internet Explorer. I’m hoping IE 7 brings the many advances it needs in CSS. Standards would be nice. :)

I’m still not positive how great the site renders in Internet Explorer, but I’ve fix the major issues. If you are using Firefox, Safari or Opera then it looks beautiful.
Let me know what design issues you come across and I’ll see what I can do.

iFeedReaders Beta Open

Thursday, June 22nd, 2006

iFeedReaders is now open for testing purposes.

There is still much to do, however I feel that this site has the basic services down and can start helping you promote your blog today.

What is iFeedReaders? Well, we allow you to add one subscription button or one social bookmark button to your site that directs people here. Once here, they can subscribe to your feed or bookmark your site in a wide variety of online services. Instead of adding 20 feed buttons to your site, add just one iFeedReaders button and we’ll do the rest.

Since we are in beta mode, there may be issues. If you find any, contact me. :)

As the weeks go on, I have plans to make this site better and and I look forward to your feedback.
